sE1X printing in Polycarbonate!!!

275c HE / 120c HBP

As promised, the sE1X can fully handle the beast known as PC. The only issue has been with adhesion but from what I’ve read, kapton tape is the best way to go. In this photo, I used just a strong concentrate of ABS juice which worked ok until I got to the layers above 10+ where the part would then peel away from the heated bed. I will post more when I have tried it out on kapton.

sE1X delivers results!

se1x_2

Here is a recent print off a sE1X I wanted to show everyone how well they print. I am currently using 1.75mm ABS from Atomic filament.

The bridging work on the shroud is stunning..the smoothieboard 5xC runs flawlessly and the Hexagon has put out some fantastic prints. I am really proud of this 3d printer and cant wait to see what else she will do!!

More to come soon!!

Atomic PLA Filament now in stock

True-Gold-PLA-spool

We just received a wonderfully large shipment of Atomic PLA filament.

This stuff has been sold for a while “underground” on the RepRap IRC channels and is generally regarded as the highest quality US-produced filament.
We’re very proud to be an official reseller of Atomic Filament.

Go have a look at our color selection. You need to try this stuff.
